This Logo design is more of a rebranding for one of my own businesses, Over the years I have also owned and run an Audio Visual company called AV Solutions Direct (Yeah I’m a full-time geek). With the creation of our media company Pratts Creative Media, the decision was made to bring AV Solutions Direct under the same banner and showcase the family name.
Following on from the Logo Design for Pratts Creative Media I wanted this logo to be similar but not exactly the same. The same font and large “Pratts” was used to pull the two companies together but the colour was tweaked to make the AV Business different. The “P” logo mark was changed for an “AV” mark but again the same cutout style was used. As you can see from the image I went through many options until I found the one I liked (being your own client is hard, there was many more works that did not make it to the image).
Colour was also taken into consideration for this design as I wanted to have the colour be linked to the industry. For many years the RGB Cable (component cable to them in the know) was used as the primary video connector. This Red, Green, Blue colour was then used in the logo and will also be used throughout the business marketing moving forward.
